MPI Foundation is a non-profit organization that funds scholarships for MPI members globally, and grants to conduct market research on the impact of the meetings industry, in order to drive its success and its professionals.
Whether you’re an industry veteran or just starting your career, MPI Foundation is committed to giving back to you and your industry, making you both stronger. A donation to the MPI Foundation helps ensure the professionalization of the meetings and events industry for the future. When you help people bring people together, you help change the world.
MPI Foundation holds different fundraising events; auctions and events held throughout the year, with proceeds going directly to giving back through individual scholarships and educational grants to MPI members around the world.

MPI Foundation, in conjunction with the generous support of our industry partners, offers grants to MPI chapters to; education, training, market research and other special interest needs that enrich and strengthen our industry. The Scholarship and Grants Committee awards grants for MPI chapter programs with monetary support of up to $5,000 USD, requests above that amount are considered a major grant and are awarded by the MPI Foundation Global Board of Directors.

A benefit of being a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is access to world-class academic programs, educational resources, and business networking opportunities provided by the MPI Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our Supporters, MPI Foundation continues to fund scholarships, grants, and research initiatives throughout the meetings industry that drive the success of meeting professionals like you.

In the last 7 years the monetary support to LATAM has been the following:

Mexican Caribbean: 27 members – $15,535.00 dollars

Latin America: 60 members – $17,795.00 dollars

Mexico: 83 members – $50,139.00 dollars

TOTAL: 170 members – $77,000.00 dollars

The Rendezvous Big Party is one of MPI Foundation’s premier networking events for meeting and events industry professionals. MPI Foundation partners with organizations throughout the year to host the Rendezvous and profits are invested back into the MPI foundation.

Rendezvous takes place within the framework of the following international fairs:

  • World Education Congress (WEC)
  • European Meetings and Events Conference (EMEC)
  • IMEX America
  • FIEXPO LATIN AMERICA
